Sharon Diane (Morgan) Schrader, 53, of Bellville, passed away Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014, at her home with her loving family by her side.

Sharon was born Oct. 20, 1960, in Houston, the daughter of Leonard and Dolores (Cole) Morgan. She grew up and attended schools in Houston and Kansas, before graduating from G.C. Scarborough High School, in Houston Class of ’79.

Sharon was united in marriage to David Schrader, Jr. on Aug. 25, 1979, in Houston.

In the summer of 1997, Sharon and David moved to Bellville, and were members of the First Baptist Church. She was employed at the Austin County Courthouse in the District Clerks office as a Deputy District Clerk, from 2004 until 2012. Sharon enjoyed reading and spending time outdoors in her flower garden and with her beloved pets. She loved the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 35 years: David Schrader of Bellville; her daughters: Candice Lopez and her husband, John, of Sealy, Jennifer Riley and her husband, Aaron, of Fort Hood, and Sarah Schrader of Brenham; her grandchildren: Avery and Bailey Diane Lopez, both of Sealy, and Mikhail, Emma, Audrey Diane, and Kaitlyn Riley, all of Fort Hood. She is also survived by her mother Dolores Morgan of Houston; her sister Cheryl Erickson of Tucson, Ariz; her aunt and uncle Bonnie and Al Cole of Houston and many dear friends and family.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Morgan, and her mother and father-in-law, Nancy and David Schrader, Sr.

Pallbearers were Clifton Wooten, John Kainer, Larry Ogrodowicz, Bill Love, Bobby Pyka, Mike Buchtein and George Luchak.

Visitation was held Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, from 5-7 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home in Bellville.

Funeral service was held Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, at 10:30 a.m., at the Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Carl Williamson and Michael Criner officiating.

Interment followed in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
