Dustin Derrick Gross, 33, of Industry passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 20, 2014.

Dustin was born in Bellville, Texas on Oct. 11, 1980, the son of Delroy and Dorothy (Frank) Gross.

Dustin was employed by Weige Automotive as a Mechanic for seventeen years. He was Vice-President of the Sharecropper’s Antique Farm Equipment Club and a member of Industry United Methodist Church, Industry Volunteer Fire Dept., Woodman of the World, and Sons of Herman.

He is survived by his parents, Delroy and Dorothy Gross of Industry; brother, Dwayne Gross and wife, Emily, of New Ulm; niece, Shelby Lynn Gross, of New Ulm; aunt, Carol Gilbert and husband, Melvin, of Houston; uncle, Wilbert Frank and wife, Debbie, of New Ulm; three cousins and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Roy and Leona Gross and Wilbert “Candy” and Louise Frank; and uncle, Harold Gross.

Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Koenig & Strickland Zaskoda Chapel, 2280 Main St., Industry. Family will receive friends from 3-6 p.m.

Funeral Services was held at Industry United Methodist Church, 1914 Main St., Industry, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2014. Burial followed at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Industry United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 86, Industry, TX 78944; Sharecropper’s Antique Farm Equipment Club, 3100 FM 3456, Brenham, TX 77833; or Industry Volunteer Fire Dept., P.O. Box 146, Industry, TX 78944.
