(Mary Kenter Mewis) Bellville Times Mrs. A. E. Mewis died at the family home in the Roach Prairie Community on Friday, October 28th, 1910, in the 26th year of her age. She leaves her husband and three small children and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Kenter, and a number of other relatives to mourn her passing away. She was a native of this community and possessed a large circle of friends. The funeral took place on Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock with interment at Pilgrims' Rest, Rev. I W. Campbell of the Methodist church conducting the services. The TIMES joins many friends in extending sympathy to the bereaved family.
