It is with great sadness the family of Victor D. Filip announces his passing on August 2, 2019.
He leaves behind his daughters, Nancy Urbish and husband, Frank Urbish, of Wallis, Kim Clark and husband, Darryl Clark Jr., of Wallis; grandchildren, Cassie Abbott of Katy, Ashley Clark of Houston, Cameron Clark of Richmond, Candice Clark of Katy; & great-grandchild, Hannah Abbott; brothers, Bobby Filip and wife, Irene, of Wallis, and Fred Filip of Pasadena. He is preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice; brother Johnny Filip of Wallis; sisters, Vlasta Toellner of East Bernard and Emily Butler of Wharton. Victor was born on April 22, 1936 to Emil & Agnes Mikes Filip, the youngest of six children. He later joined the army where he served our country for 2 years. After discharge, he married his wife Beatrice of 57 years on June 2, 1962. His favorite hobbies were hunting, fishing and watching old westerns on tv. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, August 6, 2019, from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at Guardian Angel Catholic Church, 5518 Demel Street, Wallis, Texas. A rosary will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by funeral services at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Pallbearers: Frank Urbish, Darryl Clark Jr, Paul Watts, Cameron Clark, Aaron Brandt & Tyler Buckley. |
