Robert Holub, 82 of Highlands, Texas passed away August 16, 2009. Robert was born on May 16, 1927 in Wallis, Texas to Frank and Betty Holub. Robert has lived in the Highlands area for most of his life and worked as an assistant pumper in the petrochemical industry. When Robert was not busy working he enjoyed reading, gambling, fishing, duck hunting, traveling and spending time with his family. Robert was a very caring, kind and knowledgeable man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Betty Holub and daughter, Rita Holub Henrichson. He is survived by the mother of his children, Kathleen Holub Crawford; daughter Reecie Plocheck and husband Skip; daughter, Susannah Durant; daughter, Mary Morgan and husband Luke; son, Gerald Holub and wife Heidi; daughter, Betty Davis and husband Chuck; son-in-law, Phil Henrichsen; sister, Leona Besson; sister, Della Fojt; grandchildren, Amanda Plocheck, Katie Plocheck, Ashley Zbaren, Meagan Williams, Austin Henrichsen, Jeremy Morgan, Zachary Morgan, Montana Morgan, Solomon Morgan, Christian Morgan, Danielle Petrus, Caleb Holub, Emily Holub, Joseph Holub, Grace Davis, Rebekah Davis, Charles Davis III, Joel Davis, Olivia Davis, great granddaughter, Rita Williams and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at Sterling-White Funeral Home from 5-7pm with a rosary a 6pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 2pm at Knesek Funeral Home 6244 Guylore Street Wallis, Texas 77485 with burial following at Hartsville Cemetery in Wallis. Services have been entrusted to Sterling-White Funeral home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, Texas 77562.
