We are gathered together to celebrate the new life of our loving mother, Lee Mova Tillotson Ewing, 90, who was born March 20th, 1927 in Wallis, TX to Leonard E. Tillotson and Ethel Hammack Tillotson. She departed from us to join our Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ, in heaven on January 17th, 2018, in Jacinto City, TX. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and will truly and deeply be missed by all.
Preceded in death by her father and mother; her husband of 73 years, Lawrence W. Ewing Sr.; and 2 sons, Glenn Howard Ewing and Lawrence W." Larry" Ewing Jr.; a grandson, Marcus Ewing; and a great-grandson, Dakoda Scott. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Yvonne and husband, Jennings "Sonny" Aldridge, of Henderson, TX; a son, David Allen and wife, Rita Ewing, of Jacinto City, TX; a son, Bruce Kelvin Ewing of New Caney, TX; a daughter, Carol Denise Scott of Houston, TX; and a son, Wayne Mark and wife, Lisa Ewing, of Baytown, TX. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was a lifelong member of the 1st Baptist Church of Jacinto City TX. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018, at 11:00 am at the Knesek Brothers Funeral Chapel, 768 4th St. in Sealy, TX. Burial to follow after the service at the Sealy Cemetery. A visitation will be held in her honor 1 hour prior to the service. |
